Sefrou sits at 850 meters elevation on the edge of the Middle Atlas — meaning fresher air, mild summers, and walking routes that pass olive groves, mountain springs, and historic landmarks. Our most popular walk is the 1.5 km route to the cascades, passing the ancient aqueduct that still feeds Sefrou’s hammams today, and the legendary Stairs of Satan. We also guide longer walks to Jebel Binna, the surrounding olive groves and cherry orchards, and the heights of Bhalil overlooking the valley. All walks are gentle to moderate — suitable for most ages and fitness levels.
