Sefrou hosts Morocco’s oldest cultural festival — the Cherry Festival (Moussem Hab al-Molouk), running every June since 1920 and recognized by UNESCO in 2012 as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The three-day festival draws 400,000+ visitors annually with parades, Berber music, Fantasia (T’bourida) equestrian displays, artisan souks, and the iconic crowning of “Miss Cherry.” We also guide visitors to the smaller local moussems (religious festivals) tied to the mausoleum of Sidi Ali Bousserghine, which fall throughout the year. Our Festivals & Events tours position you for the best of each event — without the chaos.
