Cultural Heritage

1 Day

Sefrou and Bhalil are some of the most culturally layered places in northern Morocco. Sefrou’s medina — one of the oldest in the country — was for centuries a crossroads between the Mediterranean and the Sahara, home to a multicultural community of Berbers, Arabs, and Jews. The town’s mellah (Jewish quarter), last remaining synagogue, ancient caravan post, and well-preserved perimeter walls all reflect this layered identity. Our Cultural Heritage tours focus on the architecture, history, and communities that built the region — guided by a native of Sefrou who knows the stories behind every gate, alley, and tradition.
